Terms

Rights

• I own all rights to the artwork
  • I may share the artwork online; on social media or elsewhere. If you wish, you can post it too (with proper credit), or you can request that I don't post it at all
  • If posted online, I will link to your social media of choice. If you wish, you can request to remain anonymous, and I will not tag you
• Artwork is for personal use only
  • You can download the artwork and use or modify it however you like; a profile picture, sharing online, noncommercial projects, etc
  • You may not use the artwork for profit; do not sell it in any way, shape or form
    • Do not use the artwork for Cryptocurrency, NFTs, Generative AI, or any other weird techbro money schemes

The Commission

• I reserve the right to decline a commission, if:
  • The character is outside of my area of expertise (this most often means characters with lots of details that cannot be simplified)
  • I am uncomfortable with the subject matter (if you're unsure, ask!)
  • I am otherwise not able to, or not confident in my ability to fulfill the commission
  If this comes up after payment, I will offer a full refund
• If you wish to commission artwork of a character that is not your own, I may need written consent from the character's owner, depending on the subject matter
• I would prefer if you can provide a visual reference! If you only have a written reference, I will give it my best shot, but I may not backtrack to fix every mistake or inaccuracy
• Once the artwork is done, I will send you the files in .png and .psd format. You can make any edits you like using these files, but please be respectful; don't make a mockery out of my artwork!

Payment

• Payment will be up-front through a PayPal invoice, once I know what you want me to draw
  • You may request a refund before the first pass of the sketch is finished. Once the first pass is finished, I will no longer accept refunds
• Once payment is processed, I will try to finish the commission within the next 14 days. If anything comes up that will cause delays, I will try to let you know as soon as possible

Prices

Prices are in USD. If something is not listed here, feel free to ask about it!

Base

Sketch: $25 +$10 per extra character
A rough sketch of your desired character(s). I will be using pixelly brushes for this, unless you ask for something else!

• First pass: Tell me what pose you're looking for, and I will block it out! I can make large changes to the pose at this point. Once the pose is finalized, the first pass is finished, and I will no longer accept a refund
• Second pass: I'll get to work cleaning up the sketch, adding details and such. I cannot change the pose at this point, but I will correct smaller details and inaccuracies

Color

You can mix and match these as you please

Solid / no color: free
Just the sketch as-is, or characters roughly filled with solid color, to make them stand out

Colored: +$10
A quick pass over the drawing, splashing colors wherever they belong. May bleed outside the lines in some places, but I will try my best to keep within the lines, unless that messy style is what you're looking for

Rough shading: +$10
Blotches of darkness or dithering to provide additional depth, your choice!

Backgrounds

Solid color / simple shapes: free
Pick a color, some shapes, or a pattern, perhaps...!

Photograph: $5
Tell me what sort of scenery you'd like, or send me a photograph of your own! I'll play with colors and filters to make it fit nicely in the background

Other things

Alts: +$5 per alt (may vary, depending on complexity)

Alts can be a lot of things! Depending on how much you want changed between alts, I may request more or less than $5, but you can most likely expect it to cost $5.
These are what I consider to be alts:

• Color schemes
• Clothing combinations
• Facial expressions
• Slightly differing poses (think like... an arm being raised, perhaps?)

...but these are not alts:

• A drastically different pose
• A different character in the same pose
